Requirements

Many business owners in Canada have attempted to exploit entrepreneurial opportunities presented by digitization and platform technologies but they face tremendous challenges in making these strategic investments. If your company would like to invest in internet-enabled products and services, a group of 4-5 student-consultants will spend about 20 person-hours per week (over 12 weeks) and prepare a strategic analysis of the investment options that are aligned with your business goals in the IoT space. Our student-consultants will apply their analytical thinking and market research skills to develop a strategy framework to help you make informed decisions.

Our student-consultants will proceed to meet the following milestones:

  • Define the keys challenges faced by the company.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of technology and market trends.
  • Develop strategic options and plausible scenarios for the expected outcomes.
  • Evaluate the potential risks and impact of the strategic options on your organization.
  • Develop decision criteria to select a feasible option.
  • Write and present the strategic plan persuasively.
