Student goals and capabilities

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Humber College to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.

Students in this course will synthesize concepts and strategies from previous and concurrent courses to create a comprehensive business plan for their envisioned enterprise. The plan entails evaluating market attractiveness, internal capabilities, and external risks. It includes assessing various business strategies, formulating a mission, vision, goals, and business objectives, and outlining detailed strategies for key functional areas like marketing, operations, finance, human resources, and leadership. The course allows students to refine a business concept and advance it toward launch.
