We provide a comprehensive experiential education opportunity through our project-based internship program, specifically tailored for our senior students majoring in Digital Forensics and Incident Response, Information Assurance, and Risk Management. These students are thoroughly prepared to integrate their academic expertise into practical settings, thereby contributing significantly to your organization's security posture and strategic objectives.

Our students in the Digital Forensics and Incident Response, Information Assurance, and Risk Management programs are equipped with a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and the latest technologies. They are trained to address complex security challenges, safeguard digital assets, and manage risks effectively. The majors in this focused group are:

  • Digital Forensics and Incident Response
  • Information Assurance
  • Risk Management

During their internship, students will undertake one or more projects aligned with your organization's specific needs, providing innovative solutions and fresh insights into security and risk management. Their ability to seamlessly integrate with your team is supported by their proficiency in virtual communication tools and collaborative platforms.

Bay Path University is dedicated to offering an inclusive, career-focused education to women from diverse backgrounds, including in the critical fields of cybersecurity and risk management. By hosting our senior students for internships, you are not only contributing to their professional development but also accessing a talent pool ready to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges. We are flexible with start dates, and while we prefer paid internships, we are open to discussing unpaid opportunities. Project Examples

Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.
