Teams of 1-3 students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship/project period. Students are available for long or short term projects of a minimum of 180 hours to be completed from June to August 21, 2020.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project and company needs. Students are prepared for research reports and executive presentations of their findings. Project scope would include deliverable by the final date of the project.

Project Examples

Requirements

Students can complete a substantial project to bring real results to your organization. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the project continues there may be other duties or projects the student can complete as well. A structured timeline with milestones and project deliverables will provide the best actionable outcome.

Project areas that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:

The project will target in-depth at understanding a business' value chain and providing optimization suggestions. Examples of questions to be addressed in this project could be:

1) Supplier Evaluation: Who are the key potential suppliers out there that your business should consider developing a relationship within the short term and long term?

2) Supplier Market Analysis: How does the competitive relationship look like between those suppliers; any potential events that may lead to big changes in your supply landscape?

3) Logistics Optimization: Is your logistics arrangement optimized to the max? Any potential cost-saving or service improvement opportunities?

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide a dedicated contact who will act as the student's primary supervisor over the duration of the virtual placement/project. A secondary contact should be provided as a backup. Students will interact virtually with their primary contact on a daily basis, or as needed and agreed upon

Placements/projects are paid or unpaid
