Other deliverables for this project, which may be specific to the your organization, will be determined during an initial conversation between your organization and the Capella Riipen coordinator. Deliverables will be finalized during the initial meeting with the student-consultant team.

Project Examples
Requirements
Beginning this April, Information Technology student-consultants in teams of three to five students will dedicate from 180 to 300 hours to working with your organization on an IT-related need or opportunity.
Based on the information that you provide to the team, they will develop a plan to address your IT opportunity or challenge, and create a solution and/or recommendations that will assist you in achieving your organizational objectives.
Projects may include the following elements:
- Data Analytics: Developing reports, data integration plans, or ETL processes
- Data Management: Developing a data security and protection policy, reviewing data architecture, and recommending improved management practices
- General Information Technology: Evaluation of new applications and/or technologies or development of prototypes
- Health Information Technology: Evaluation of new applications and/or technologies in the health care industry
- Information Assurance & Security: IT security review, security planning or security policy development
- Networking (CISCO or Microsoft Technologies): Review of existing infrastructure or evaluation of new technologies
- Project Management: Develop an implementation plan for new technology, process, department, or organizational change
- System Development (Mobile or Web-Based Applications): Evaluation of existing applications with recommendations for improvement, designing and prototyping a new application
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Within 3 days of submitting the project interest form through Riipen, be available for a phone call with Capellas Riipen Coordinator.
Be available to schedule and attend a meeting with the Capella learner team between April 8 - 13, 2018, to kick-off the project.
Be available to schedule and attend a final webinar presentation of project results between Jun 4 - Jun 10, 2018.
Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the students remotely, or in-person if feasible (approximate minimum of 4-6 hours over the duration of the project).
Provide a dedicated contact to answer periodic emails or take phone calls to address students questions and provide timely response.
