Expected outcomes and deliverables

Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the internship. However, these deliverables must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the internship. A primary objective of this internship placement is to have students integrated into the workplace's culture, which will enhance the networking capabilities of both the student, and the organization.

Bay Path University offers unique programming for women of all ages seeking bachelor's degrees. We are a relentless innovator and a force for equity, and our commitment to women’s success goes far beyond teaching a checklist of competencies. By partnering with Bay Path University, you'll be able to directly contribute to this growth and make a large impact.

Project Examples

Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

I understand that these experiences require ongoing support and mentorship to students throughout the internship. Students will interact virtually with their primary contact no less than once a week.

I understand that as part of the Bay Path University internship program, organizations will complete a Learning Contract prior to the start of the internship. This process will be assisted and facilitated by members of the BPU internship program.

Please provide a dedicated contact (name and email) who will act as the student's primary supervisor over the duration of the virtual placement. A secondary contact should be provided as a backup.
