Students
Phase 1 ย Project Plan: Students will meet with organization representative(s) to devise the project scope and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project.
Phase 2 ย Project Execution: Students will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.
Phase 3 - Outcome: Students will submit a 10-page report on their findings and recommendations, including a plan to implement and changes to HR strategy, policy, or practices.

Requirements
Beginning this January, a group of four business students will spend 120 hours working to improve your HR systems.
They will conduct an audit of an employment system chosen by you. Based on your goals and input, the students will review, analyze and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Students will provide an objective perspective and informed insights on HR best practices.
The findings of their analysis will allow you to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency, and reduce risk.
Project examples include:
- Training & Development Programs (excluding Recruitment).
- Employee Retention.
- Use of Contingent Workers.
- Union-Management Relations.
- Health & Safety Processes.
- Organizational Culture Plan.
- Organizational Structure Audit and Review.
- Attendance Management.
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the students in-person or remotely (approximately 4-6 hours over the duration of the project).
Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address studentยs questions or provide additional information
