3rd and 4th Year undergraduates from the University of Toronto Business programs students specializing in Human Resources will work in teams of 3-4 will conduct qualitative (e.g., job evaluation, benefits, aligning new job descriptions into the existing compensation structure) or quantitative analyses (e.g., statistical analyses on pay data for market pay analyses or company's internal equity analyses) using industry data along with data provided by your organization (optional).

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Do a 15 min live (virtual/in person) group presentation with a slide deck and speaking notes for the employer (who can attend presentations in person/virtually). Employer needs to ask questions or provide feedback for every team.

Previous projects included

--valuating new jobs in a new company entering a new market for compensation and market pay analysis

--developing performance management systems and aligning them with compensation systems (including benefits)

--developing employee's career development/competency maps and aligning them performance management and compensation systems

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide relevant information/data as needed for the project - which can also include a live presentation of your company to the students

Be available via video or in person to listen to student group presentations (~15 min each 5 person group) and ask questions from student presenters (5 min Q&A)

Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
