Our company provides regular training for employees, so they are up-to-date on ethics and safety standards as well as changes within the industry. Because of our reliance on technology, we would like to update our security awareness training in particular. We would like to work with students to determine what content should be included or updated in our current security awareness training. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on security awareness in businesses. Familiarizing themselves with our current security awareness training program. Gathering relevant information and feedback from interviews / surveys with key stakeholders. Identifying areas of improvement and recommending changes. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Assisting in the implementation of changes.

Ecological Packaging Research

Our company values sustainability and is looking to shift our packaging to be biodegradable or fully recyclable. We are looking for assistance in sourcing new packaging for each of our products: Research new and more ecologically friendly packaging and ways to package our products, which can include new packaging including mailers, boxes, stickers, etc. Create recommendations on the best ways to package our product. Creating an improved label design including a symbol to indicate that it is biodegradable/recyclable. *CHANGE CRITERIA AS REQUIRED* The following outlines criteria we hope to meet with our new packaging. Fundraising Plan

Our organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges. We would like to collaborate with students to develop a fundraising plan to meet our goals. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals. Familiarizing themselves with our past fundraising activities and donors. Conducting background research on fundraising strategies. Recommending suitable fundraising strategies and creating a timeline / calendar of these activities. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Assisting in implementing new fundraising activities.

Health & Wellness Program Implementation

Our company has hundreds of employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We would like to implement a formalized health and wellness program to elevate their overall well-being. However, we do not have an adequate understanding of what types of initiatives will be valuable to our employees. We would like to collaborate with students to gain an understanding of what components should be included and the implementation strategies available. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Analyzing data from employee interviews and surveys. Researching current trends in corporate health and wellness. Developing a realistic health and wellness program. Providing metrics to justify the implementation of the program. Recommending steps to implement the program within our company. Revising and improving the proposed program based on feedback.

Data Analysis Research

Our research lab publishes dozens of papers every year to promote projects in our field of research. Among these papers are studies detailing our lab’s findings from data analysis. We would like to collaborate with students to analyze our raw datasets. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our project’s objectives and analysis procedures. Checking for and correcting inconsistencies in the dataset. Calculating important results and plotting data in graphs and charts. Performing relevant statistical tests to determine the significance of results. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending future areas of study.
