Project Examples
Requirements
Starting this September, a team of 5 Business/IT students will dedicate 125+ hours over the full semester developing and/or implementing a custom IT plan, recommendations, and strategic solutions for your organization.
Based on your challenge or opportunity, the student-consultant group(s) will provide detailed insights that can assist your organization in overcoming IT obstacles and becoming more competitive and effective overall.
Project examples include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic use of information technology: Facilitating the execution of your business strategy through creative and strategic deployment of an existing IT program.
- Using information technology as a strategic weapon: Identifying and creating a sustainable competitive advantage through information technology.
- Managing security and risks: Identifying IT system risks and preventative measures.
- IT management analysis: Identifying who determines the IT strategy in your organization and how effective your IT governance is, including developing recommendations for improvement.
- Using IT to improve organizational effectiveness: Identifying areas of opportunity for efficiency/ productivity and the most effective and comprehensive IT solutions.
- Managing competitive landscape changes: Identifying and implementing relevant IT systems in anticipation of or in response to industry changes.
