Overall, it was a very positive experience, with the group being a good mix of students from different fields of study. From the start, the group seemed keen to work on the issue, and took it upon themselves to divide into three different areas, research, marketing & suggested changes. The group understood that though we were open to suggestions, we were keen to maintain the core of what we are doing. The team together found valid data, via NCVO, which highlighted some well-known facts about volunteering, but also highlighted some of the more manageable challenges that we as an organisation could address to reach further. The balance between research, and advice, will become useful for us when considering our promotion for the next year.
