  • question 1

What notable qualities or skills did the student demonstrate throughout the project?

A foundational understanding of database structure and software programming skills for outlining models, routers, and schemas.
  • question 2

How did the student engage with stakeholders during the project?

Inconsistent throughout the project: engagement waned as the project progressed. The student missed several recurring meetings without notifying stakeholders in advance, and there were no communication from him in the last 7 days, despite following up everyday.
  • question 3

Did the student effectively manage their time and meet project deadlines? If so, how? If not, what areas could they improve in?

No. While they initially engaged in planning, the student did not give any progress updates throughout and only a final deliverable was given with no testing and no iterations. To improve, the student should focus on adhering to scheduled timelines, ensuring prompt communication when delays occur, and following through on all aspects of the project deliverables, including deployment and testing.

    Individual endorsement

Our experience was unsatisfactory: missed meetings, inconsistent communication, and incomplete deliverables.

Our experience with this student has been disappointing. Despite clear expectations outlined in our first meeting, the student missed three recurring meetings without any follow-up explanation and, after promising that all deliverables were complete, remained unresponsive for seven days before eventually sharing a Git page. The project’s scope required us to have a fully functional, AWS-deployed database with an API that supported CRUD operations, along with appropriate testing to ensure everything worked as intended. However, the student only delivered code (models, routers, and schemas) that still needed to be deployed and tested. The bare minimum was done and nothing operational was provided. We would not recommend this student for future collaborations.
