Stephen’s performance fell significantly below our company's standards and expectations. Despite clear instructions and expectations set at the outset, the quality of work delivered was consistently poor, lacking in thought, effort, and personalization that were critical for the tasks assigned. 1. The tasks assigned, including personalizing communications and engaging thoughtfully with content on social media, were handled without the requisite attention to detail. Efforts to personalize were minimal and did not align with the specific instructions provided. 2. Despite receiving direct feedback and guidance on improving the quality of work, there was no notable improvement in his approach to assignments. The efforts remained superficial, and the output lacked the depth and engagement we value in our team. 3. Stephen's commitment to the project was below expectations. Initially agreeing to an 8-week engagement, he expressed a desire to complete the internship in a significantly shorter period, indicating a focus on completion rather than quality or learning. 4. Communication was also a challenge. Weekly meetings were missed multiple times without any prior notifications. As a result, while we believe in the importance of learning opportunities and growth during internships, the performance in this instance was not aligned with our organizational values or the standards we uphold for professionalism and quality.
