I had the opportunity to work closely with Bobby Puim, COO of Playbook International Media, during a fast-paced and high-impact software development internship project. From the start, Bobby created an environment that balanced autonomy with guidance, empowering us as interns to take full ownership of real business challenges while providing the support and direction needed to succeed. Throughout the project, Bobby was consistently accessible, transparent, and constructive in his feedback. His ability to communicate expectations clearly while giving our team the freedom to problem-solve and innovate made a real difference in both our learning and the quality of the final deliverables. Every check-in with Bobby was focused, productive, and driven by a strong vision for how technology can support Playbook’s operations at scale. Beyond the technical outcomes, Bobby’s leadership gave us a sense of purpose. He treated our contributions with trust and seriousness, which elevated our commitment to delivering tools that were not only functional but built to last. This experience taught us how to work as a high-performing team under real-world conditions, and much of that growth was made possible because of Bobby’s leadership. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to work with Bobby and highly recommend him as a thoughtful, strategic, and empowering leader.
