Details

To expand our product offering we need to design a Software Defined Radio (SDR) prototype. These are electronics systems which are versatile and can be software configured for various radio applications.

We are interested in developing this for applications that our clients have requested for.

We would like to design the radio for upto 12 Gigahertz frequency.

Key aspects of the internship may include :

  1. Radio Frequency design
  2. Printed Circuit Board / Circuit design
  3. Field Programmable Gate Array design

One of these will be selected basis the student's capabilities and interests.

Designs for the fabrication of the board.

Deliverables

The final deliverables include:

  • The simulations include the Radio Frequency simulations on softwares including System Vue, Ansys High Frequency Structure Simulator.
  • Schematics on Altium are required.
  • Verilog code for the Field Programmable Gate Arrays
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

They will be guided in the development process to achieve the technology goals and mentorship and tools will be made available as and when required.
