Our company is expanding rapidly, and we would like to launch a mobile app in the near future.

We need an intern who is knowledgeable about app creation and coding. Our company, and client base are not tech-savvy, despite being based online. This creates some unique challenges, but also means that the UI will have to be very simple, meaning this should be a pretty introductory level app design. A great way to get your foot in the door if you're an aspiring app developer!

Our goal is to:

• Integrate an app into our offerings
• Easily make our Wix website courses and membership available through the app
• Create a plan for further development and launch

The intern will:

• Collaborate with employees to plan and design an app based on our current offerings
• Advise on the options for hosting and creating the app, presenting a cost/benefit analysis (With support)
• Create the beginnings of the app
• Provide a plan for further development, and launching the app
• Create a document outlining work done, including any code, as well as next steps

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide:

• Support in project and task planning/management
• UX design support
• Insight into existing app development options
• A comprehensive look at how our current offerings are delivered, with collaborative discussion as to how that can interact with an app
