This would include identifying areas of improvement and developing a plan for better promotion and brand awareness. We believe this project will require:
- Research to define our unique brand position and create consistent promotional messaging
- Logo and/or Name Proposal that highlights brand awareness and brand positioning
We will give you access to organizational assets to support this project such as personnel, website analytics, sales and brand collateral, and more. We can also suggest names of competitors and comparators to research.
Our objective is to promote the wholesaling of our ginseng roots-both in raw and powdered form. We need to develop stickers for packaging that would incorporate our logo, as well as other pertinent information.
We've made a good attempt at creating our website, but know it is primitive at best and are open to suggestions as to how it can be enhanced.
With the exception of LinkedIn currently Tota Farms is not actively participating in any form of social media. We are open to the creation of new social media accounts specific to Tota Farms, as well as enhancing current accounts.
We will endeavor to participate on a regular basis with teams as per the suggestion of the professor.
About the company
Tota Farms is a fourth generation family-owned and operated agricultural business located in the heart of Southern Ontario. We specialize in ginseng production. Traditional practice is to sell roots in whole form. Customers are traditional Chinese buyers. Depending on the particular market a buyer has, the roots are handled in two ways. The first is to send them to “grading houses” for hand trimming before being sold into the marketplace. The second is to sell them directly to pharmaceutical companies who further process them (usually into powder or extract). These companies in turn sell this to Nutraceutical producers for further value-adding and subsequent sale to the end user. An example of this is Cold Fx. The maker of Cold Fx use ginseng powder as part of their formula, encapsulate it, bottle it, then sell it to the distributor.
