Challenge Outline: We would like your help to calculate the carbon emissions associated with creating a windfarm. Looking at a windfarm offshore in the UK, create metrics using the KBR suite of tools to produce a carbon emissions project calculation. KBR will provide support on the tools to calculate design metrics, but we would like you to perform a library search to find data and papers written on the subject and discuss these with the KBR team.

Key aims/objectives: 1) Find a material break down of a wind turbine for offshore farms. If possible, find breakdowns for different sized turbines 2) Calculate the embodied emissions of a wind turbine 3) Define what percentage of materials can be recycled from a wind turbine
