Details

Our objective is to source and market a more environmentally friendly offering to traditional cabinetry materials. We are looking for research to provide green, eco friendly alternatives to our current materials and the development of a viable supply chain.

Project would involve:

- researching green alternatives for timber, sheet goods, paints, lacquers, glues and other materials used in cabinetry & furniture

- researching performance and viability of alternative products

- providing technical comparisons pros/cons of green option versus traditional

- sourcing samples for testing

- reviewing viability of products with regards to minimum order quantity / cost / availability in Canada

- setting up supply chain, advising on exporting if required. Needs to consider the location of the business and the challenges that creates

- provide selling points, features and benefits for sourced materials for marketing purposes

Bonus – seeking grants to assist with implementation / marketing
