This program will aim to educate and empower individuals to support abused and neglected children, create awareness, and involve the community in ending childhood trauma and generational child abuse.
Students will study the landscape of child abuse in America today, strengths and weaknesses of our institutions, learn about the available legal and social support systems for children, and develop effective advocacy strategies.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
- Researching and developing a curriculum for the training program that covers relevant topics and best practices in child advocacy.
- Creating engaging and informative training materials, including presentations, handouts, and interactive activities.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and professionals in the field to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the training program.
- Testing the training program with a pilot group and gathering feedback for improvements.
- Launching the finalized training program and providing ongoing support and resources for advocates.
