detail oriented target market project management demography comparative analysis change management surveys researchThe Change Management Institute (CMI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented team of Research Assistants to support a 12-week project focused on enhancing CMI's presence in the Canadian change management community. This is a part-time, remote position, ideal for a student project or a graduate with a background in change management, business, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct background research on the change management landscape in Canada, including existing organizations, associations, and professional needs.
- Perform comparative analysis of Change Management Institutes offerings, benefits, and presence with those of other change management organizations in Canada.
- Prepare a comprehensive final report detailing research findings, insights, and suggested implementation plan
By the end of the project, students should complete the final deliverables and activities.
- Researching the target market in potential new locations including demographic data such as spending power, proximity, accessibility, and location appeal, and creating a weighted decision matrix to assign importance to each factor. Create a survey for LinkedIn Members based on conversion to paid membership.
- Analyze data from surveys to Canadian change management professionals to gather insights on their needs, preferences, and awareness of CMI (identify additional survey information or interviews required).
- Identify potential partnership opportunities or campaigns with Canadian organizations, academic institutions, and industry associations
- Analyze research findings and develop actionable recommendations for enhancing Change Management Institutes presence in Canada write a comprehensive report
- Present a slide deck and final report to the project manager and committee.
Students will connect directly with a project manager and receive mentorship from committee members throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- What do our current survey data looks like with respect to location?
- Who are our largest competitors? What products/services do they provide that are similar to ours?
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
