The main goal for the project is to research and develop a blockchain-based platform for verifying licenses and creating a transparent and secure supply chain management system for medical devices and pharmaceuticals in collaboration with regulatory bodies such as Health Canada, FDA, and state boards. The platform should address the challenges of license verification, fraud and counterfeit products, delays in verification processes, and ensure data security, transparency, and compliance with regulations.

Deliverables

- Research and analysis of the current licensing verification challenges and issues related to fraud and counterfeit products in the healthcare industry.

- Development of a blockchain-based platform for license verification, order creation and tracking, and chain of custody for drugs and medical devices.

- Implementation of features such as an immutable ledger for license verification, smart contracts for license issuance, renewal, and revocation, and real-time order creation and tracking.

- Integration of IoT and AI technologies for real-time tracking and predictive analytics.

- Collaboration with regulatory bodies and industry associations to establish standards and best practices for blockchain use in healthcare.

- Final deliverables should include a comprehensive research report, a prototype of the blockchain platform, and a presentation outlining the project findings and recommendations.
