In addition to regular visits to a dentist, flossing is a critical part of proper personal oral hygiene. Sadly, too few of us floss regularly. As a dental hygienist with over 30 years experience and a regular at dental industry conferences, I know that encouraging flossing is the most effective route to strong gums and a healthy smile.
