Details

We are acquiring a large building with delightful freeway visibility off of the 805 South. Our Firm is also looking to expand its digital footprint to embrace digital commerce. The building has been selling paper insurance products since 1956 and we are coming in as a digital operator we need to redesign the exterior and interior of the building. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative designer to get hands-on experience with a real-world business. If successful you'll be famous.

We think this project could include the following stages:

  • Research into the insurance market to identify key trends and opportunities as well as competitors
  • Investigation into our clientele to determine who they are and why they visit our brokerage including the drive-thru
  • Develop recommendations for internal and exterior digital access (kiosks? self-service?)
  • Design recommendations and develop an implementation plan with costs
  • Present your proposals to management for consideration
Deliverables

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • A final report
  • A 30-minute presentation

Your final recommendation should be in digital format with source.

Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. Students will have the ability to tour and survey the site, and recommendations that are adopted will be permanently credited to the student for resume and referral purposes.
