INTERNSHIP in the Entertainment Industry -- Writing: Communication Internship. Blogs, Press Releases, Emails in Entertainment Industry

Are you interested in writing blogs, press releases, and email marketing to promote brands and artists, creating copy and/or promotional material, general communications, marketing materials, and learning how to get generate interest, awareness, engagement and action for artists and other non-profit brands, all while keeping everything organized through the discipline of project management!?

Do you like to jump in and 'get the job done'? If so, please apply! The work can be done remotely.

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The intern will learn best practices in writing and communication from experienced staff.

Deliverables
  • Write blogs and/or press releases
  • Incorporating SEO for blogs and press releases by integrating and optimizing with relevant keywords
  • Email Marketing. Sending out regular email or other content related to the relevant brand, to move them along the path towards purchasing.
  • Content copy creation for use in promotional material and/or social media
  • Writing convincing material to attract potential attendees
  • Responsible for developing methodologies and systems to acquire potential clients' email contact information
  • Create campaigns; organize landing pages, and a funnel, for different interests; and grow enrollment in a particular program
  • Understanding all relevant guidelines and industry requirements
  • Creating and implementing a communication calendar
  • Planning holiday, social cause or other themed activities
  • Maintaining project tracking sheets
  • Review Google analytics to identify traffic-enhancing activities
  • Research market, identify opportunities and generate interest
  • Identify and incorporate trends
