Cayop is determined to connect youth to latest opportunities (non-formal education or employment). This includes internships, hackathons, student competitions, funding for youth initiatives, and conferences/forums.

As a Sales Representative, your job will be to reach out to organizations and firms that have an active opportunity that they can post on Cayop. This includes internships, hackthons, conferences/forums, funding programs, youth council positions etc.

You will also work on developing a proposal for organizations to get annual subscription with Cayop.

Orientation and on-going support will be provided.

You will also get commission (20% of sales) for any single posts or monthly subscription. Fors monthly/annual subscriptions, the commission only applies for the first month's amount, and is not recurring.

Deliverables

Students will be work on the following tasks:

  • Research organizations and firms that have an active opportunity for youth (e.g. internships, hackathons/competitions, youth council positions, grants/funding, awards, conferences/forums/summits).
  • Send emails and make call to organizations.
  • Develop a proposal for large organizations to buy subscription on Cayop.
  • Track email/phone contact information.
Mentorship

The Founder of Cayop is a career coach by practice. He has worked as a Student Career Coach at a university previously and has worked as an independent Career Consultant for the past six years. Student interns will be supported on the projects and will have the option to get their resumes and LinkedIn profile reviewed.

Reference letter can also be provided.

For students that are interested in a career within the federal public service, Cayop can host an information session with a local career expert that specialises in a career within the public service (this will be upon request and based on interest from participating students)
