We would like to collaborate with students to identify key market trends and assist in our go-forward plans.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Familiarizing themselves with our products, target market, and industry.
- Analyzing growth trends, stagnation patterns and decline analytics.
- Identifying areas of promising innovation and areas that are slowing down.
Bonus steps in the process would also include:
- Recommending strategies to best position our company.
Specifically, Sub Projects could include:
- Building Models to Calculate our true TAM, SAM and SOM: https://www.thepowermba.com/en/blog/tam-sam-som
- Industry Focus Recommendations, by customer category: Manufacturers, Distributors, Project Implementation Companies, Etc., (What is the market Size for Each, by Geographic Region)
- Industry Events (ii.e. The Chip Act,, and how we can get involved).
- Market Expansion - What are metrics to show potential investors that our overall target market is Expanding (I.e. Supply of excess is growing for the short term due to supply chain inefficiencies that are catching up. However the surplus of inventory, is decreasing the value of these goods in the short term.) How can we show investors there is a lot of opportunity here.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Familiarity with our products, market and industry
- Understanding of growth trends and stagnation patterns
- Identification of areas of promising innovation
Bonus steps would include:
- Recommending how we can best position ourselves within the industry
Final deliverables should include
- A final report.
- A 10-minute presentation.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Our products and services
- Our current understanding of the industry
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
