Eternal Sparks Consulting (ESC) is a global social enterprise specializing in fundraising consulting, strategic philanthropy, and technology-driven solutions for the non-profit sector. We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing & Communications Intern to help expand our reach and refine our marketing and communications strategy.

This role offers an exceptional learning experience for candidates interested in fundraising, marketing, and non-profit communications. It has the potential to evolve into a part-time or full-time position based on performance and impact.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop & execute a digital marketing strategy in collaboration with the CEO to enhance ESC’s brand presence.
  • Create a communications strategy that aligns with ESC’s mission, ensuring effective storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Design and implement social media campaigns to increase engagement, brand awareness, and client outreach.
  • Improve website performance by identifying necessary updates and implementing strategic content improvements.
  • Develop a customer success strategy to ensure client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to optimize digital marketing and advertising efforts.

Deliverables

1. Digital Marketing Strategy Development

  • Conduct a market analysis report on trends in non-profit fundraising consulting.
  • Identify target audience personas for ESC’s digital marketing efforts.
  • Develop a content calendar for social media posts and marketing campaigns.
  • Propose SEO strategies to improve ESC’s online visibility.

2. Social Media & Communications Plan

  • Create a detailed social media and communications strategy that aligns with ESC’s brand.
  • Research and implement best practices for engagement and audience growth.
  • Design and schedule 20+ social media posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance, presenting insights in a monthly report.

3. Website Enhancements

  • Conduct a website audit to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement fixes and updates (e.g., broken links, outdated content, missing pages).
  • Create a landing page or update existing pages to align with ESC’s marketing strategy.

4. Advertising & Client Outreach

  • Research and draft a targeted advertising strategy within ESC’s budget.
  • Identify potential client outreach opportunities and craft email templates.
  • Support in developing case studies or success stories for marketing purposes.

5. Customer Success & Engagement

  • Develop a customer success framework to improve client retention.
  • Create an onboarding email sequence for new clients.
  • Gather client feedback and prepare a quarterly client engagement report.
