The main goal for the project is to design a series of inspirational posters and affirmation cards that will motivate and uplift Early Childhood Educators and enhance the learning environment in early childhood education classrooms. The designs should reflect the company's mission of instilling a love of learning in educators and students.


This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Researching and understanding the needs and preferences of Early Childhood Educators.


- Brainstorming and creating designs for posters and affirmation cards that promote a growth mindset and love of learning.


- Collaborating with the company's design team to ensure the designs align with the company's mission and vision.


- Incorporating feedback from Early Childhood Educators and the company's team to refine and finalize the designs.


- Creating digital mockups and prototypes for the posters and affirmation cards.


Deliverables


By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


- Research report outlining the needs and preferences of Early Childhood Educators.


- Design concepts for inspirational posters and affirmation cards.


- Collaboration log detailing the interaction with the company's design team and feedback received.


- Finalized digital mockups and prototypes for the posters and affirmation cards.



Final deliverables:


- High-resolution digital files of the finalized designs for the posters and affirmation cards.


- A presentation outlining the design process, feedback received, and the final designs.


Mentorship
  1. Regular Mentorship Sessions: I will allocate staff time for regular mentorship sessions to provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the project.
  2. Access to Tools and Technology: Students will have access to relevant tools and technology necessary for the project, including research databases, writing software, and editing tools.
  3. Access to Data and Research Materials: I will provide access to data sources and research materials to aid in the research and scriptwriting process. This includes relevant literature and resources on early childhood education topics.
  4. Guidance on Research and Writing: I will offer guidance on researching relevant topics in early childhood education and writing scripts for podcast episodes. This will involve assisting students in structuring their research, evaluating sources, and developing compelling narratives.
  5. Feedback and Revision: I will provide feedback on script drafts and offer suggestions for improvement to ensure alignment with project objectives and the podcast's standards. This includes providing guidance on clarity, organization, and storytelling techniques.
  6. One-on-One Consultations: Students will have the opportunity for one-on-one consultations to address individual concerns and receive personalized support as needed. This will allow for deeper exploration of topics and troubleshooting of challenges.
