Details

Create a toolkit that enables people to make community projects that utilize physical and digital space through an AR platform. This feature will help the app platform be a more active connection to the real world and the community projects that users can create on the platform. An ideal use case would be documenting experiences at a street festival so as to create a living album of the event, anchored to the geographic location it was held. This feature along with the base functionality to use other projects as case studies on our platform will enable dynamic new projects to be designed, built and hosted on our mobile app and in the real world.

Deliverables

Building on our base app, Spotstitch, we want to enable users to post digital memos, photos and video (if possible) to geographic points and be able to access content based on temporal conditions (timescale to photos tagged to a geographic location).

an advanced project would look at developing digital masks and augmentation tools for various objects and environments

Mentorship

students will be in weekly contact with our technical team: http://www.azeemhussein.com/resume + 2 developers, 1 back end, data science focused dev

Supplementary Documents +Mock-up Designs will be provided by the organization, students will have opportunity to continue with the project after term and receive compensation if retained post launch and fundraising efforts. (to be enabled by product launch)
