The Federation of Canadian Music Festivals (FCMF) seeks to enhance its marketing and communication efforts to raise awareness of its mission and the National Music Festival. The project aims to develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with FCMF's vision and sector, focusing on creating engaging content for various platforms. The goal is to increase visibility among potential participants, alumni, partner connections, and donors, thereby fostering stronger community ties and enhancing fundraising efforts.


Students will apply their classroom knowledge of marketing principles and digital communication strategies to create a cohesive plan effectively communicating FCMF's values and initiatives. This project provides an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in content creation, audience engagement, and strategic communication within the music festival sector.

Deliverables

- A detailed engagement calendar for a six-month period, including post ideas, themes, and scheduling.


- A set of 10-15 sample social media posts, complete with graphics and copy, that align with FCMF's mission and vision.


  • May include the creation of short informational videos or longer interviews with alumni or other stakeholders


- A report outlining strategies for engaging alumni, partners, and donors through social media channels and newsletters.


- Recommendations for measuring the effectiveness of social media and newsletter campaigns and suggestions for future improvements.
