Details

The UX/UI Design for Spectator Interaction Features project aims to prototype and design new features for a digital product to improve the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. The project will involve conducting user research and analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and preferences. Based on the findings, the project team will collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm and ideate on new design features.

Once the new features have been identified, the project team will create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to illustrate how the new features will be incorporated into the product's existing interface. The prototypes will be user-tested to gather feedback and iterate on the design until a final design is approved.

The project team will also ensure that the new features align with the product's brand identity, style guide, and accessibility guidelines. The final designs will be delivered to the development team for implementation.

Deliverables
  1. Conduct User Research: One of the primary tasks will be to conduct user research to identify user needs, pain points, and preferences. This will involve methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  2. Ideate and Brainstorm: Based on the user research and stakeholder input, the student will need to ideate and brainstorm on new design features.
  3. Create Wireframes and Prototypes: The student will need to create wireframes and prototypes to illustrate how the design features will be incorporated into the product's existing interface.
  4. Conduct User Testing: The student will need to conduct user testing on the prototypes to gather feedback and iterate on the design until a final design is approved.
  5. Deliver Final Designs: Once the final designs have been approved, the student member will need to deliver the design assets to the development team for implementation. This may involve creating design specs or collaborating with developers to ensure the design is implemented correctly.
Mentorship
  1. Gain Real-World Experience: Working on a real-world project will provide students with valuable experience in UX/UI Design and how it applies to product development.
  2. Learn Collaboration Skills: Working in a team with industry professionals will help students develop important collaboration and communication skills.
  3. Develop Problem-Solving Skills: The project will require students to identify user pain points and design solutions to address those pain points, which will help them develop important problem-solving skills.
  4. Build a Portfolio: The project will provide students with an opportunity to build a portfolio of UX/UI design work that they can showcase to potential employers.
  5. Networking Opportunities: Working on a project with industry professionals may provide students with networking opportunities that could lead to future internships or job offers.
