Having an efficient and effective training and development process is crucial to the success of an organization. U+ is looking to provide a revolutionary summer camp counselor training program where employees can stay up to date on company values, ethics, SOPs and gain insight about their role. We would like to observe and examine how recommended areas for further training and development, within a short period, can benefit the company. 

• Familiarizing yourself with our company’s summer camp training manual, positions and its objectives 
• Analyzing employee feedback on training procedures 
• Conducting industry research on training programs of other similar organizations
• Identify valuable training opportunities that would benefit the company (i.e diversity training, leadership development)
• Recommending next steps for improving our company’s training programs.

Deliverables:

• Delivering reasonable ideas that are customized to fit U+Education’s target employee/volunteer (i.e developing a timely training process, as many volunteers are seasonal)
• Creating a final report that proposes the training and development program/strategy, why it is beneficial to implement (include statistics, industry research, graphs, diagrams, etc)

• Students will connect directly with the employer for regular mentorship and supervision throughout the project.
• Students will have access to previous training and development tools (i.e videos, SOPs, etc)
