Sai is a fintech startup that is building financial management tools for artists and creatives. We launched v1 of an automated tax filing solution (www.sai.cx) in April 2024 and are currently deploying this tool to help self employed individuals with simplified tax filing.

The main goal for the project is to assist Sai in building v2 of their proprietary tax filing solution. This involves working closely with the dev team to help develop an automated tax filing software for artists and creatives. The software intern will be functioning as a junior engineer and will be involved in the entire development process.

- Collaborate with the dev team to understand the current version of the tax filing software

- Contribute to the development of v2 of the tax filing solution

- Test and debug the software to ensure its functionality and reliability

- Assist in optimizing the software for improved performance

- Document the development process and provide a report on the enhancements made in v2

We will offer direct mentorship with a highly experienced CTO who has led teams at companies like Amazon, Intel and Veeva. We will also offer networking opportunities in Toronto's startup scene.
