We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and being a part of the non-profit sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

You will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Assist with a social media launch to promote our organization.
  • Create graphic designs for instagram, Medium, twitter, and other social media sites.
  • Will be managing social media posts.
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the social media manager. This will also include weekly progress meetings for updates and next steps.

Our purpose is to advocate alongside newcomers, particularly refugees, to ensure their needs are addressed. We hope to create a fostering environment in which refugees and newcomers are better able to utilize existing services and support. We try to accomplish this through advocacy, presenting primary research, and community talent engagement.
