The main objective for this project is to conduct research alongside the company and assist in development of a database system for managing our data. In this project, the student will create database designs and help the team compare and contrast between different database options. By the end of the project, the student's design should be part of our software product and they will have the ability to assist in deployment and set up of our database. The main objectives include:

• Research of databases and open source libraries that will work best for our purpose
• Design of databases and data visualizations of our data
• Integration pipelines from database to the rest of our analysis software

The student will be involved in a couple of different important tasks and will work very close with the team to accomplish the following:

• Research and documentation of databases and relevant software
• Creating documentation for the code set up during this project
• Writing source code and creating github tickets required to complete this project
• Creating a final presentation for the work done during this project

The student will receive support for the team's engineers as well as the team's project manager. The student will be involved in the team's meeting and will receive weekly feedback in weekly update meetings. The student will also make sure to be available for times the student will be working to ensure the student has the best learning experience possible.
