Details

We are looking for a team of work-learn students who are interested in building their skills in full-stack web development in a live production environment using Google Cloud services. This project will provide an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technology, and to develop skills in areas such as Apache, SQL, Linux VMs, Docker, and more.

Deliverables
  • Develop a web application from scratch using full-stack web development technologies on Google Cloud
  • Gain hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure and tools
  • Collaborate with other students and industry experts
  • Improve technical skills and build an impressive portfolio
Mentorship

The collaborator has the following responsibilities within the project:

  • Provide dataset to faculty and students
  • Communicate with students regarding projects in a timely manner. This will be on Element (our Slack-alternative messaging platform) on a regular basis and Zoom on a less frequent basis
  • Attend kick-off meeting with students, review proposal and attend the final presentation (accommodations can be made if in-person is not possible, example: video conference)
