We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

Specifically, we are looking to create (1) our first Employee Manual as well as (2) ADA compliant job descriptions for our positions and (3) a best practice procedure document for creating future job descriptions.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

• Compile policies already created into an Employee Manual using our draft Table of Contents.
• Write content pieces on various topics to be included in the manual related to our mission, vision, volunteers, and the work that we do.
• Evaluate recent job descriptions from other organizations and online sources to create job descriptions for current and upcoming positions.
• Create a best practice job description creation procedure document to provide future guidance

Students will be directly supervised and mentored by the CEO. With a CEO who was a college professor for fifteen years, Inform Your Community is committed to making any student related opportunities valuable and rewarding learning experiences.
