advocacy communication marketing content curation promotional materials mentorshipWe would like students to help us with curating marketing and digital contents that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.
BEBC is a black-led organization, representing Black businesses in Canada. We are providing a unified platform for advocating and supporting Black entrepreneurs and businesses in Canada. In addition to advocacy, we help facilitate access to financing (Federal, Provincial, and Local) and provide advisory and mentorship services to our members.
Our goal is to help Black businesses grow, scale up and become sustainable.
Ultimately, you will be working on our marketing lead and the rest of the team to create valuable content and marketing communication
If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.
To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) to have an understanding of:
- Marketing Communication
- Digital Content Creation
- Assist with content curation strategies and curating programming and event promotional materials.
- Manage social media platform
Students will work closely with the marketing lead, who will be supervising and available for questions and support throughout their internships. You will be able to get mentored by the overall team, including the founder and CEO, attend teams meeting and grow in and with the organization.
This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
