Details

To conduct a thorough market analysis to identify the best target markets with examples of major companies that could benefit from our product, as well as product's payback periods (or a calculation strategy and comprehensive guide) for the recommended segments.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Conduct a thorough market analysis to identify the best target markets and major companies that could benefit from your product.
  • Research and analyze customer data to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Develop segmentation criteria to identify target markets.
  • Incorporate payback period analysis to assess the potential return on investment for potential customer segments and to support developing a pricing strategy. Consider factors such as the required capital to have the needed infrastructure in place, market demand and preference, etc.
  • Align the pricing model with the identified customer segments and their perceived value.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to support evaluating the effectiveness of the plan and its execution.

Mentorship

Before the start of the project and setting milestones, we can provide students with:

  • Previous research data on direct competitors, one segment within our potential target market, and any other information or research data students need to jump-start the project.

During the project and to support students, the company will allocate a dedicated person who will support students and the project through the following, if needed:

  • Available for a quick online call with the instructor to confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course and on any required day for the final presentation.
  • Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly drop-ins, or if needed, more frequently, to address students’ questions as well as periodic messages over the duration of the project.
  • Provide an opportunity for students to present their work and receive feedback.

After completion of the project, the company will provide the following on request:

  • An official letter of recommendation, an endorsement on students' LinkedIn page, or a reference to their cooperation with the business; whichever the students request.
  • The students can also add their collaboration with the company in the Experiences section of their LinkedIn profile.
