We want to use our dataset, based on our current users and their activities, and leverage the latest technology to gain an advantage in our market. We would like to collaborate with students to apply the latest AI and machine learning techniques to our dataset to gather new and exciting insights that our organization can leverage

This will involves:

• Effective verbal and written communication of research findings and development status.
• Assist in the development of our minimum viable product (MVP)
• Architecting, developing, optimizing, and owning the deployment of ML functionalities into production systems
• Proposing appropriate tools (languages/libraries/frameworks) for implementing projects
• Conducting in-depth research on different machine learning techniques most applicable to our product and develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Deploy and test algorithms on real hardware and simulations

By the end of the project, students should submit a final report (along with any source materials such as code, workbooks, etc) that demonstrates:

• Understanding of the available dataset
• The problem being solved
• Methodologies and approaches
• Outcomes and results
• Recommended next steps for our organization
• Having developed a functional and accurate machine learning algorithm

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Providing multiple versions of any potential solutions
• Providing source code in a proper software development environment as applicable

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Current product understanding
• Current data set and guidance in navigating it
• Current industry standard approaches to ML and AI.
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter
• I will provide mentorship to the students
