We are launching a new social app. Looking to bring on a mobile app developer student who specializes in react native to help build our minimal Viable product first and assist with deploying the existing code version to both IOS and Android Store.

Proficiency in React Native , Java (Swift is an asset)

Good understanding of and ability to navigate through C/C++ code , and adjust the code , if necessary, to suit new requirements/bug fixes

Hands-on experience building a mobile app using React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Router, HTML5, CSS3 on Android and iOS.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing themselves with our platform, products and services.
• Identifying updates that should be added to our app.
• Implementing and documenting changes.
• Recommending areas for future app improvement.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Familiarity with our platform, products and services
• Identification of app updates to be implemented
• Implementation and documentation of updates
• Recommendations for future app improvements

Final deliverables should include

• Source code for app
• Outlining document

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our platform, products and services
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
