Students at Accelerate Her Future will be provided with an opportunity to develop interview guides for leaders, managers and fellows we wish to profile on our blog. They will also have an opportunity to write highlighting recent research focused on gender and racial equity as well as state of women in the workplace. This engagement will give interns an opportunity to work with a dynamic team within a collaborative environment.

The student will be exposed to a variety of skills and experiences to enhance their knowledge of digital marketing, communication, and content creation. We are a young startup and as a career accelerator for students and recent graduates we care deeply about mentorship. We will help our students succeed as much as we want them to help us enhance our digital footprint. We are looking for students who have creative vision, tenacity, driven, and see possibilities in all things and who thrive at developing creating digital copy and content for social and web.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

• Write set up blog interview guides, blog articles, and other content pieces on assigned topics
• Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization
• Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
• Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story

Who are we looking for? Ideally you have lived experience and ‘insider knowledge’ of the communities we serve at the core of our mission. You are inspired by our mission and like working within a collaborative environment. You value patience, respect, generosity, and good humour in your working relationships. Having an emerging understanding of intersectionality and gender and racial equity principles will be an asset.

Students will be working directly with AHF's Fellowship Circle Coordinator and Social Media Lead. They will participate in weekly team meetings as well as one on one mentorship calls.
