ATTAB: International business development

Challenge outline: We would like the students to conduct market research for the ATTAB group. Specifically, conduct a SWOT analysis of the companies that we have identified as competition so we can learn from them and develop our strategy accordingly. Key aims/objectives: 1) Who are the players in the field currently using our model, or similar, in Africa, America and Europe? 2) Based on this research, what do you think is most important to know about these players?

Tech-led consultancy research

Challenge Outline: We are developing a consultancy arm to our business, strictly in the tech sector, in order to build our network and respect in the tech industry. Our tech consulting will specialise in providing clever solutions to everyday problems, such as the housing crisis in across Africa. In order to enter the market, we need to be aware of our competition and how we can stand out.Key aims/objectives:1) Perform a competitor analysis on consultancies that are technologically-led (such as complexity science and/or dynamic systems2) What do these companies do well? What could we do to stand out?3) Provide us with a list of recommendations on how we can start to investigate building this into a feasible business proposal4) We’d like to being a podcast series, interviewing influential people in the industry.
