Distributed Workforce 2020 Report: Pros/Cons working w/ a Distributed Workforce

Industry research / data driven report.I am looking for a team of data researchers to dive into Why it may or may not be difficult to have a distributed workforce. What is a hybrid model (research both collaborative and singular productivity models and how this affects how a company truly thrives into today's current climate)? We are currently living in a COVID-19 world that is full of unknowns and as far as going back to work is concerned, we are navigating uncharted waters. There are companies out there like DOJO.co that are making tremendous strides, through A.I., to calculate game plans for companies to come out on the other side of this pandemic in the best way. I've found there are three key areas, in no specific order, that I would really like to explore on a deeper level that we could use to define the challenges we may encounter as we move toward this 'new normal' (I would love to come up with a term to define this period we find ourselves in to better describe this time in history):Building trustConflict resolutionPersonality traits: how remote based workers (i.e., distributed workforce, etc.) can successfully work together.Terms to (re)define: Hybrid Model - this is a new category - I want to figure out how to leverage this term more effectivelyCollaborative Productivity (teams or persons needing teams to be more productive)Singular Productivity (person who will thrive working in isolation or from home)Post COVID: Is there another word that we can use to describe this period/pandemic/post pandemic, etc?Is there another time in history that we can learn from that we can leverage information that can help us now? What did our world look like pre-covid? (Think Spanish Flu - what happened to commerce, people)? What does our world look like now? What will our world look like in the future (based on research and what history has shown us)? What specific actions can our leaders of today take in order to create a safe, productive environment and how can they use this information to restructure the most cost effective models moving forward while maintaining both an internal (brick and mortar) culture as well as make this culture relevant and inclusive to the remote-based/distributed workforce? How important is it to perform personality assessments and how are these assessments interpreted to make sure a successful hybrid model is adopted? What is success? It is my hope that understanding the global workplace analytics, including both work from home and office environments, will give us the information we need to make the best decisions moving forward.- Jaime Jay
