Seeking Project Coordinator Intern to work in Marketing and Entrepreneurship environment Supports the management & execution of the assigned projects or programs Supports the execution of program components Works with internal & external stakeholders effective project delivery Tasks Outline • Develops solutions based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs. • Provide assistance on assigned implementation of solutions. • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders. • Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations. • Monitors and tracks project performance and address any issues. • Leads or participates in communication plans • Builds change management plans where required • Supports the management of the project or program including execution of project components. • Participates in the design, development, implementation, and management of project needs • Provides support to team where required • Gathers and formats data into dashboard reports • Develop tailored messaging including writing, editing and distribution of communications. • Can work mostly independently. Computer Science - Application Build

Our organization can offer a virtual opportunity for 1-3 computer science, application students or teams. The primary focus for the student(s) will be: to execute during the placement, as exemplified below. Where applicable, we will work with the students to select the tools/platforms they will be using to complete their work. Create a dashboard type platform where we can manage our programs/projects and view current projects at a glance in summary format. Intuitive Project Management Application (web component) where users at various stages in the project can access details such as milestones, upcoming tasks and deliverables. You will work to finalize Front end and Back end of the beta iOS and Android app. We hope to be in a stage where our Startups and Community users can use it to the potential to gain benefits to better manage their non-profit work. The beta app is expected to have the following functions. Application Development - Selecting the best technologies for creating the application or feature (i.e. a real-time chat function); creating a fully-functioning application. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Application Development to: 1. Log-in: Secure platform, validate User ID/email 2. Verification: Password – note, I do not want to save nor manage user password – we will need to determine levels of compliance 3. Multiple user types with different needs – we can have levels of users 4. Communication on the platform among users via direct correspondence(private) or group chat opportunities similar to “slack/trello” without crowding their inbox. 5. Ability to share content with team members. 6. Engagement reporting. 7. Using calendar-related features – set up meetings 8. Milestone reminders. 9. Project Transition

Our company will be working in conjunction with the Applied Computer Education Project Space (ACE Project Space) at Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech). RRC Polytech is a learner-centred institution that places an emphasis on real-world experience and opportunities for students to take part in Work Integrated Learning (WIL). As part of the Applied Computer Education (ACE) department the ACE Project Space has been giving WIL experiences to students for the past 9 years. The ACE Project Space works with real-world clients to solve problems that will enhance their business. In the past ACE Project Space has worked with Government, not-for-profit organizations, established businesses and start-up companies. Solutions have been created for almost 100 unique clients and well over 100 unique projects have been completed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions all work for this practicum will be completed remotely. The project's academic supervisor will be Chris Podolsky. Problem or opportunity Based on the implemented technical solution documentation will be produced to guide the transition to a client environment. Objective The goal of this project is to work towards delivering an implemented solution into a client environment, or documenting the environment for a future project team. The expected deliverables to be delivered by the student(s) are as follows: Training on the technical solution Documentation of the installation in a client environment (if appropriate) installation of the solution into the client production environment User manual Technical manual Implementation or transition document

Website Development

We would like a new website for our organization. We aren’t sure which platform we would like for it to be built on, but we have an idea of what we would like it to do. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us. Students should be prepared to: Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Create or work from a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline. Build a fully-functioning website. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.
