SAAVHA is a social impact company focused on personalizing healthcare/research patient consent to reduce inequity and administrative friction. We turn the static paper-based healthcare consent design of today into dynamic consent that supports patient empowerment, interoperability, and privacy laws the healthcare ecosystem is seeking. When it comes to having advance directives, there is a significant gap between demographics, and we hope to increase adoption in the minority community by at least 20% over the next 5 years. Although Annual Wellness & Advance Care Planning is our initial focus, we envision a future in which our platform supports data as a service across the ecosystem for privacy, medical treatment, and research.

Decentralized Clinical Trials Standards Body Research
Seeking graduate level students(s) or post-doctoral candidate(s) to support research initiatives with an IEEE guideline recommendation initiative around decentralized clinical trials. Either a single student or a group of students can complete this project. We are looking to work with student(s) who can complete the following: - Secondary peer-reviewed journal based research on specific aspects of Patient Safety and/or Cybersecurity in Decentralized Clinical Trials. - Support efforts in drafting subject specific journal articles. - Present research findings and draft publications to working group members. - Work with the Working Group’s publication committee to submit and finalize articles for publication.
