  1. An assessment of the present organizational processes.
  2. Justification for the proposed new improved processes.
  3. How to manage the operation of the process in terms of process governance.
  4. How the process supports your strategy.

Project Examples

Requirements

Starting this August, MBA student-consultations will spend 150 hours per group of 5 assessing a challenging process within your organization to provide optimization recommendations.

Based on your challenges and objectives, students will research and document your organization's processes, refer to best practices, and develop a tailored recommendation for optimization. These recommendations will aim to increase your overall productivity and efficiency.

Project scope may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identifying best-practice processes.
  • Workflow automation.
  • Simulation of business processes.
  • Designing a strategic enterprise IT management system.

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a quick phone call with the organizer to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience. The organization should select a business process in need of improvement and provide detailed description of the process, data and required objective.

Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the students in-person or remotely (approximately 4-6 hours over the duration of the project).

Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address studentโ€™s questions or provide additional information.
