The University of West Alabama (UWA) is a public university in Livingston, Alabama. Founded in 1835, the school began as a church-supported school for young women called Livingston Female Academy. The university serves students in several academic colleges and divisions on a 600-acre campus in west-central Alabama. UWA offers various degree programs including associate, bachelor's, master's, educational specialist, and educational doctorate degrees.

The University of West Alabama invites you to partner with our Advertising Agency Management course, where students are trained to function as part-time employees in a dynamic advertising agency setting. Our learners possess skills in graphic design, web design, social media, photography, animation, and video production, all aimed at addressing real-world client needs. Throughout this course, students will enhance their abilities in branding, marketing, and public relations, culminating in the development of a professional web portfolio. As an employer, your role will include maintaining regular communication with our students, providing guidance and all necessary project-related information, and participating virtually in the final presentations. Constructive feedback on their work is essential to help students refine their skills and deliver outstanding results.

Environmental Sciences Internship Opportunity

The University of West Alabama invites employers to collaborate with final-year Environmental Sciences students through our immersive 12-week internship program. This Experience is designed for learners who have completed their core coursework and are ready to apply their academic knowledge to real-world environmental challenges. Students aim to build practical skills in research, sustainability, policy analysis, and community engagement. Through this collaboration, students will gain hands-on experience and enhance their professional skills, contributing valuable insights to your organization. Employers are expected to maintain regular communication with the students, provide necessary guidance and information, and approve the final report. Constructive feedback on the student's performance is also required to help them refine their skills and knowledge.
