Elevate your organization in the public health sector with the assistance of undergraduate and graduate-level student interns from National University (NU). Our program offers a diverse group of working adult students who bring valuable skills to enhance your public health related practices. Collaborate with our interns who possess knowledge across the specializations of Health Promotion, Community Mental Health, and Healthcare Administration, where they will work remotely on a main project or smaller initiatives for 8-12 weeks. Important Note: We accept projects on a rolling basis as student cohorts become available.
Healthcare Administration Capstone Experience
HCA 499 Practicum: Internship/Capstone Project-based
This experience is designed for learners in the Healthcare Administration program to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in real-world settings. Participants will engage in a capstone project within a healthcare agency, allowing them to connect classroom concepts to practical applications. Learners will develop competencies in project management, teamwork, and leadership, while also enhancing their professional communication skills. This experience aims to prepare learners for entry-level administrative roles in healthcare organizations by providing hands-on exposure to the healthcare administration field.
Strategic Communication Strategy Consultants

Gain access to graduate capstone student consultants from National University's MA in Strategic Communications program. During this experience, students will apply their expertise in real-world scenarios, working on a strategic communication project tailored to your organization’s needs. Throughout 4-6 weeks students will collaborate virtually, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to your project requirements. Students in this program gain an in-depth understanding and practical application of strategic communication management. The focus is on developing, sustaining, and leveraging communication strategies across various platforms to achieve organizational goals. The program covers communication research, campaign development, and management, highlighting their importance for today's communication professionals. Specific topic areas include applications of strategic communication campaigns, audience engagement, message development, persuasion, communication effectiveness, and contemporary strategies for maintaining communication relevance in the digital age.
